In anticipation of the Day and Night of Architecture, Rotterdam hosts its annual architecture quiz, with funny and quirky questions about the city, the buildings and the future plans. Play with your colleagues and friends, and take on a wide range of enthusiasts.

Developed together with architectural writer Paul Groenendijk, the quiz puts your knowledge of Rotterdam’s architecture and urban development to the test. Each round explores a different theme – from history and unbuilt projects to today’s icons, high-rises and visual art. And of course, the buildings and locations toured through on the Day and Night, make their appearance during the quiz.

Guided by proper Rotterdammer Ferrie Weeda, the quiz journeys through a bold mix of images, facts, stories and unexpected trivia. Like any good quiz, it’s about sharing knowledge and enjoying the moment – but also about the thrill of competition. Because in the end, one winner earns the honorary title of Architecture Nerd of Rotterdam for the year.
