OMI dives into a surreal, multidisciplinary experience that stimulates your senses in unprecedented ways during the workshop Performing Collage. Together with food designer Trang Hà and sound artist Roc Montoriol, Md-2 architects shows what the collage techniques of artist Jiří Kolář can mean for architecture and artistic practices.

The interactive performance shows a taste of techniques – arbitrary crumpling, stratified layering, composed perforations – being applied to architecture, culinary art and sonic dimension. Generating unique and unexpected results.

Dressed in lab coats and safety goggles, Md-2 architects cut, crumple, stack, and perforate PVC pipes, liquid tin, and stone to create new materials. Meanwhile, sound artist Roc Montorio uses vibrations and subtle taps to reveal the unique sounds of these materials. Food designer Trang Hà transforms fruit snacks into jellies and extraordinary cocktails.
