What if we treated the city as an urban mine? Urban Glaze, the studio of Rink and Eva, redirects local waste streams from Rotterdam — including dredged sediment from our rivers — and turns them into a circular glaze, with architectural application as the ultimate goal.

In this workshop, part of the Landscape Crafting exhibition, Rink and Eva share their experiments and lessons learned. Afterwards, you’ll shape your own façade tile, inspired by forms and textures from the city. Once finished, the tiles will be glazed by Rink and Eva with an Urban Glaze of your choice, and fired.
