The exhibition Current Traces #01 brings together three contemporary visions of the city and landscape. Contemporary artists and designers let you rediscover the ordinary places around us. Artist Gill Baldwin places plants from the OMI back garden in a large revolving installation, provoking questions about the meaning of nature in our immediate surroundings. The many stories of the Nieuwe Binnenweg come to life in a collage – tapestry, photos, quotes – by architects Leyla Hepsaydir and Rebekka Schächer. Photographer Elvira Smit takes us to places where public warning sirens sound every month. The resulting pictures form a fascinating cross-section of the Dutch landscape.
