BAR OMI opens its doors again. A gathering space for art, unexpected performances, talks and workshops. From a vinyl listing bar to a stage for creative talent. BAR OMI changes character each week. The gleaming bar designed by md-2 Architects winds its way through the space, which has been completely transformed together with the multicoloured curtains. The design accommodates a wide range of events, from talks and exhibitions to film and dance evenings.

md-2 architects is founded by Mahaut Dael (1992, Belgium) and Michał Długajczyk (1989, Poland), both graduated cum laude at the Rotterdamse Academie van Bouwkunst. Through models, scenographies, research and renovation projects, md-2 explores the site specificity of a place, aiming on extracting and revealing its material and immaterial layers. md-2 regularly collaborates with artists, opening the field of architecture to a wider spectrum of influences.
