Artist Willem Besselink has a fascination for unnoticed patterns in the daily living environment. Commissioned by OMI, he created the installation ‘Doorzicht’ (See-Through) during ZigZagCity 2023. In this spatial installation, various structures from the city come together: visible and invisible, underground, in the air, and behind the facades. During Art Rotterdam, the work can be viewed in the outdoor space of the Van Nelle Factory, as part of the presentation by NL=US Art gallery.
